About the role:

Unlock the power of data for customers, internal stakeholders, and products by preparing and exploring data, designing data pipelines, and building interactive dashboards/reports that reveal impactful insights and opportunities. Build and maintain data systems and construct datasets that are easy to both analyze and support company requirements. Provide automation as needed for ELT/ETL operations and consistently work to improve data quality and pipeline efficiencies. 

Qualifications:  Higher Education in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, and/or Computer Science, or equivalent job-based experience  

What you will do for us:

  • Create a pipeline that includes both static and dynamically generated data ingestion, analysis, model building and even the preparing of the results into a format that the end-user can access easily. Data sources could be both static and dynamic data sources.
  • Develop a trained model: Analyze data and train machine learning models to determine the best performing model based on the business’s requirements.
  • Create API(s) for end-users to interact with your model
  • Develop dashboards that provide predicative analytics and actionable insights critical to stakeholders’ ability to better run the business
  • Present and communicate data analysis results to management and stakeholders
  • Provide thorough documentation of all aspects of technology and processes including enterprise data model diagrams and documentation
  • Support Data-driven enterprise activities within Dev, Product and across the enterprise.
  • Work directly with stakeholders, management, and engineering, customers to translate marketing, attribution, and reporting goals into solutions
  • Investigate and analyze client first party data for insights and opportunities
  • Build custom interactive dashboards that provide visualizations of campaigns and results
  • Participate in sales cycle activities with internal partners and directly with customers
  • Design, monitor, and enhance customer's data-driven marketing campaigns
  • Analyze current campaigns for new audience opportunities or model improvements
  • Create data preparation workflows for transforming data for reporting/modeling needs
  • Build, maintain and enhance enterprise reporting solutions
  • Present results of analyses to internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Be an advocate for data-driven practices and decisions
  • Work with business stakeholder groups to identify and document operational data necessary for business decisions
  • Design and build BI Reports/Dashboards for internal business groups and executives
  • Support internal business users in using available tools, data, and dashboards
  • Run ad-hoc analyses to identify opportunities and/or risks to business operations

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of statistical concepts and methodologies
  • Knowledge of mathematical concepts related to algebra, trigonometry, geometry
  • Knowledge of relational data structures
  • Knowledge of common data types and their appropriate usage
  • Knowledge of SQL concepts and usage
  • Experience with Object-oriented programming and/or functional scripting concepts
  • Self-starter able to quickly learn new concepts, tools, and processes
  • Demonstrates capacity for divergent thinking
  • Ability to present content with confidence to diverse audiences
  • Ability to summarize and effectively explain complex scenarios and problems
  • Above average curiosity
  • Deals effectively with ambiguity and situations where there is not a single “right” answer
  • Ability to concentrate on details of a problem while maintaining context of the larger objective
  • Ability to approach complex challenges with an analytical and creative mindset
  • Ability to build and maintain strong cross department relationships within PFL
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in the face of complex problem solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in communicating complex concepts

The rest of the stuff: Compensation 115K-145K+ DOE. Full-time position with complete benefit package including health, 401K, disability, vacation, paid parental leave, etc.
