The primary responsibility is tp support patients during the intake process. Mental Health Technicians work under the general direction of the Admissions Manager and/or Chief Nursing Executive.   Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Degree or equivalent. Experience: Previous related healthcare experience, with behavioral healthcare patients strongly preferred. Additional Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older. Successful completion of CPR Certification and successful completion of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) provided during new employee orientation. May be required to work flexible hours. SKILLS: Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures, sterile technique, medical terminology.
