Description

Responsible for designing, developing, and communicating insightful operational, financial and sales data intelligence to support strategic business decisions and strategy formulation across the Peak portfolio. This position will be adept at researching and interpreting quantitative and qualitative information, combining disparate data points to build and present concise and relative competitive intelligence; responsible for capturing and validating customer requirements through gathering, designing, coordinating, testing and implementation.

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000

Job Responsibilities:

  • Aid various teams in drawing insight from company's data and focus on business-facing analytics, predictive modeling, forecasting, and building models
  • Understand your business stakeholders' objectives, the metrics that are the most important to them, and how they measure their performance.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Find and understand the correct data sources for a given analysis.
  • Learn from and share knowledge and skills with your teammates to grow PowerBI's total impact on the organization.


Preferred Experience:

  • Collaborating with others in a team environment
  • 3+ years working with Power BI, SSRS and SSIS is a MUST have
  • 3+ years of Industry experience in report development, data science, business analytics, business intelligence, or comparable data engineering role, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques, and technology
  • 3+ years of SQL
  • Experience creating KPIs through interactive dashboards
  • Ability to review and validate data
  • Willingness to learn and document the data landscape including databases and applications
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and comfort presenting to everyone from entry-level employees to senior vice presidents
  • Knowledge of ETL and data warehouse concepts and processes
  • Ability to explain complicated or technical information in a simple way to non-technical audiences
  • Willingness to question the validity, accuracy of data and assumptions
