The individual in this role will be responsible for assisting with event set up, performing assigned repairs, preventative maintenance, and other related tasks to ensure safety, functionality, code compliance and maintain aesthetic appeal.    Responsibilities: Assist with set up of events Maintain, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems in safe and correct ways. Maintain a safe and productive work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and through reporting violations of policies, procedures, and guidelines to immediate supervisor. Engage in department processes designed to keep work flowing in a cost-effective manner. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System/work order system (CMMS), using mobile phone, to perform work, record work history, identify parts usage, and identify warranties in a timely and effective manner. Work safely and tell management about dirty or harmful working conditions and unsafe practices. Report all work-related safety incidences, including near misses. Professional at all times Tell management when tools and supplies are required for performing repairs when they are unavailable or broken. Uphold Thanksgiving Point’s Mission, Values and Policies   Requirements: Experience in maintenance/construction Critical-thinker, independent worker, problem-solver, and ability to follow instructions A strong desire and willingness to learn and work well with others Organized- able to prioritize work orders, manage time effectively and manage inventory of tools and materials Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and stand for long amounts of time Maintain clean, professional image, communication and demeanor at all times in work interactions, whether with co-workers, internal customers or patrons High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Must hold valid driver’s license with clean driving record Must pass background check   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
