Sr. Digital Marketing Manager

Position Summary:

As a Sr, Digital Marketing Manager at Sciton, you’ll get to do more than drive traffic to our website. You’ll showcase your ability to lead – both teams and programs – and work closely with other talented and dedicated digital marketing professionals who are among the most talented in our industry.

This role is responsible for identifying new marketing opportunities as well as increasing awareness around our brand, and managing all digital marketing and SEO-related activities like link building, content strategy and keyword usage. The ideal candidate will effectively use digital assets (company website, social media and email) to create marketing strategies that will boost conversion rates and ultimately increase our company’s ROI. Innovative thinking, a focus on positive customer experience and a proactive mindset are essential in this role.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage Sciton’s digital properties, online portals, ecommerce and optimize web site performance
  • Manage internal web team and continue to nurture grow vendor and agency relationships
  • Develop and manage strong acquisition program
  • Manage Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts
  • Develop strong CRM program via Pardot or Marketo.
  • Lead digital video efforts across multiple platforms including lead generation, training, etc.
  • Optimize online media for lead generation.
  • Monitors and evaluates existing and potential online acquisition
  • Creates reporting to measure efficiency of digital campaigns.
  • Develop, implement, and analyze marketing driven recommendations to maximize clicks, conversions and ultimately revenue on properties such as: 
  • Lead generation landing pages
  • Mobile apps
  • Corporate web site
  • Social media properties


Position Requirements

Essential requirements for the role:

  • Education & Experience – 4-year college degree required – preferably in Business, Marketing, Advertising or related course of study, 7+ years managing digital campaigns and properties
  • Email marketing – campaign strategy, including campaign planning, audience segmentation, personalization, artwork/creative direction, deliverability, iterative testing, and campaign analysis & reporting. Prior experience building emails in Dreamweaver or Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, or Hubspot is a plus.
  • Search Engine Marketing – Comfortable working in Google Adwords and managing campaigns inhouse or through an agency. Proficient in keyword research for PPC marketing, ad structure, quality score, ad account structure, targeted ads, and ongoing campaign and ad optimization.
  • Website management – Experience managing the creation, redesign, or ongoing maintenance/improvement of a medium to large scale B2B corporate website. Proficient in HTML, CSS, and Wordpress – building/editing pages, editing theme files, SEO strategy and best practices, UX and UI best practices, strong eye for design and page layout, content creation, site speed/performance, and reporting.
  • Website Analytics – Google analytics expertise. Must understand how data is captured and tracked, how GA processes data, using metrics & dimensions, data exploration & analytics, making custom segments, Writing RegEx express (a plus but not required), making custom reports, customizing data, visualizing data, making data-driven discissions.
  • Content marketing – Ability to develop clear content strategy that engages, educates, and converts customers. Strong understanding of content marketing best practices, including strategy, message development, and storytelling. Understanding where various content types fit in the marketing funnel, great at generating ideas and solving problems
  • Project management – experience managing complex projects involving multiple internal and external contributors. Key skills include planning and forecasting, risk management, budgeting, tracking and monitoring, meeting facilitation, exceptional communication, and experience with project management software.
  • Other skills/attributes – Strong design sensibility, a PowerPoint guru that can create compelling and high-impact presentations, comfortable writing and providing direction to copywriters, an extremely collaborative cross-functional team player who is open minded and flexible, can prioritize with the ability to stay focused (and help keep others focused) on the highest-impact work, an excellent communicator
