Perform root cause analysis on failed systems and sub-assemblies. Work closely with engineering on new products introduction and process improvement. Collect, organize, analyze and present technical data. Create and/or correct manufacturing methods, travelers and BOMs. Provide technical support and supervision to lower-level technicians and assemblers. Influence product and process improvement toward high quality and reduced cycle time.   Position Requirements Essential requirements for the role: Same as Test Technician Senior, plus the following: Ability to perform system final test, troubleshooting and problem-solving with mastery. Ability to perform duties and assignments with no supervision or engineering intervention. 5+ years in medical device manufacturing. The ideal candidate may also have: Same as Assembler II, plus the following: Bachelor’s degree in physics or laser technology. Practical use of Lean Manufacturing concepts. Leadership experience.
