Share Email Opening Title Room Attendant  Start Date As soon as possible   Location Quality Hotel & Conference Centre Sawridge Peace River   Address 9510 100 St, Peace River, AB T8S 1S9   Category Housekeeping/Laundry   Description JOB TITLE:  Room Attendant    POSITION SUMMARY  The Room Attendant will understand the true meaning of customer service excellence and possess a superior work ethic enabling him/her to be a positive and effective team member.      KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness is achieved throughout the hotel?  Perform daily quality control inspections of bedrooms, common areas and storage areas?  Adhering to the property lost and found procedures?  Participating in training and continual development?  Performing other periodic cleaning schedules (carpet shampooing, curtains, washing windows, walls and ceilings etc.)?  Ensuring Sawridge standards are met throughout the department.?  Liaise with the Front Desk & Maintenance in regard to readiness of rooms with particular attention to guest’s special requirements including extra supplies or other items.  Ensure corridors and staff areas are cleaned according to hotel standards?  Inspect all rooms for cleanliness and maintenance issues daily  Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors  Dust furniture  Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture  Make beds and change sheets  Distribute clean towels and toiletries, Stock linen closet  Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen fixtures and appliances  Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures  Handle complaints  Pick up debris and empty trash containers            Position Requirements SKILLS/EDUCATION REQUIRED  Excellent communication skills both written and verbal   Excellent interpersonal skills   Strong organizational and time management skills   Ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment   Physically Fit  Must be a team player and be able to work in a team-oriented environment      Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Keywords room attendant, hospitality, housekeeping   Compensation $16.53/hr   Accommodations Available   Position   Close Date   Exempt/Non-Exempt   Position Room Attendant   Close Date   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Hiring Manager(s)   Req Number HOU-22-00003   Open Date 6/3/2022   About the Organization At the Sawridge Group of Companies, we know that delivering unmatched hospitality and excellent service to our clients and guests begins with providing our employees with the very best.
