In this postion the incumbent will be trained in the setup, operations and troubleshooting of the equipment in the Packaging and Labeling areas. Duties will include documentation of work provide direction, assistance and technical support and maintain compliance. Assist with ongoing training. Responsible to ensuring labeling and pacaging of products are performed in a safe manner and meet all product specifications in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice standards.
Duties:
Line set-up, inspection, counting, changeover, reject/sampling processes and verfications required in accordance with batch production.
Oversees production processes, cleaning and in-process batch quality checks per written procedures safely and consistently.
Ensure Packaging and Labeling areas are cleaned/maintained and submit work orders as needed.
Skills
Basic knowledge of manufacturing function and general understanding of aspects of the packaging and labeling process
Demonstrate leadership abilities
Ability to read, interpret and conform to batch records.
Must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
