Responsibilities: Utilize fabrication and shop skills while building our exhibits Follow all safety protocols and standards Participate in regular trainings and on-the-job skill development Be involved in exhibit development and projects Thoughtfully promote a love of inquiry and discovery by creating safe, inclusive, and fun opportunities for transformative experiences through high quality, intentional craftsmanship and intelligent, human centered, universal design Collaborate with other departments Other duties as assigned Uphold Thanksgiving Point’s Mission and Values Requirements: Know, understand, and have at least 1 year of experience with: Woodworking joints, fasteners, and finish carpentry Shop machines and equipment including table saws, routers, CNC, and staple guns Faux finish painting Mig Welding Electronics including Ardwino Coding Best practices in exhibit fabrication, engineering, and safety protocols Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills Willing to learn, respectful, welcoming, reliable, flexible and collaborative Follow all safety protocols Pass a background check   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
