EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Required: Minimum two (2) years verifiable work experience in an administrative assistant or customer service role.
3. Required: Complete any annual trainings and screenings required for NAID Certification, state and federal compliance, and other Opportunity Village requirements of employment.
4. Required: Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid Certification is required or the ability to supply certification within 90 days.
5. Required: Current Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is primarily stationed at the front desk of the Walters campus when performing customer service coverage duties. This area can be busy with heavy visitor and employee traffic flow depending on the time of day. The noise level in this area is low to moderate. When in the warehouse are of the facility, exposure to paper particles and dust is common. The noise level in this environment is moderate to loud.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the role. 1. Ability to lift and move boxes up to thirty (30) pounds.
2. Ability to move, push, and/or pull full shredding containers weighing up to 200 lbs. preferred.
3. Frequent bending, sitting, standing, pushing, lifting, and walking. Appropriate protective (closed-toed, rubber-soled) footwear required.
4. Ability to sit at a computer for prolonged periods of time.
5. Ability to view a computer for prolonged periods of time.
6. Ability to see, hear, and speak.
7. Manual and visual dexterity to operate office equipment and examine documents, records, and files.
