Sales Representative - Commercial Security Systems

Electronic Security Systems powered by LaForce is growing! We have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Representative to join our sales team. If you are looking to establish a career in sales, this is the role for you!

The primary role of the Sales Representative is to sell commercial access control systems, video surveillance and other security products and services to education, healthcare, private business and industrial establishments.

Major Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships with existing accounts and cold call on new prospects
  • In conjunction with the engineering department, be a technical resource for customers
  • Display or demonstrate security integration products using samples or specifications
  • Provide exceptional customer service to accounts throughout the sales cycle
  • Work with vendors to understand product features, use and availability
  • Meet or exceed revenue goals and objectives
  • Assist in programming and troubleshooting of security integration products


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred emphasis in sales/marketing or technology preferred, or combination of education and related experience
  • 1-3 years of outside sales experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills required
  • The ability to problem solve and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment required.
  • Strong computer skills and general technical aptitude required
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
