SUMMARY: Under general supervision, manages and schedules a variety of preventative maintenance and repair work of County properties. Performs skilled construction and ground maintenance and repair work involving the use of large and small equipment. Provides direction and training to Department staff and contracted workers.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Reviews and prioritizes work orders; coordinates, assigns, and conducts carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance; and repairs tasks and projects.
- Provides direction and oversees contracted workers and projects.
- Purchases and maintains inventory of supplies and tools.
- Assists with the preparation and set up of special events and programs.
- May inspect County properties and equipment for safety, maintenance needs, and contractor performance.
- Performs a variety of maintenance tasks which may include snow removal and operation of special tools, equipment and machinery.
- Supports the relationship between the Teton County staff and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with visitors and County staff; maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and County information; performs other duties as required or assigned.
