Description

Therapist needed for full-time, direct hire position in South New Jersey.

Program Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participates with the treatment team in those processes that ensure the quality of care and the continual updating of the plan and the client's program through the course of treatment.
  • Actively utilizes therapeutic concepts that are recognized and approved by the Clinical Supervisor, in keeping with the Agency treatment philosophy, and represents adherence to best practices and standards for substance abuse treatment.
  • Counsels patients and interprets to professional and lay groups the special psychosocial needs of patients by identifying psychosocial disorders.
  • Assists in the assessment, planning, arranging, and implementing of psychosocial programs.
  • Provides in-service presentations to staff as needed or required.
  • Accurately and professionally presents all statistical information and case notations about Agency clients in a manner recommended and approved by the Program Director. All client record-keeping is to follow the processes and procedures mandated by federal, state, and local funding criteria and is subject to Clinical Supervision/Program Director review and approval.
  • Supervises and/or monitors clients receiving services from the Agency while involved in an Agency-sponsored activity or function and while physically present in an Agency facility.
 
Position Requirements

NJ LSW One or more years of experience working with the program population.
