Notify the Operations Supervisor if the customer was not available to approve the completed work Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of work orders, and dailies. Submit all complete and accurate paperwork to their Supervisor/Manager is a timely manner Advise the Operations Supervisor of any conditions in the field that will change our ability to perform the work as required or complete the work on time. Follow any corrective action provided by the Operations Supervisor Train and direct the duties of the hydro-excavation laborer Perform daily and weekly truck inspections, truck paperwork including Department of Transportation (DOT) fuel log, immediately notify the Operations Supervisor of any truck repairs that are needed or performed Make sure that truck is fully equipped with tools, mirrors, tape measures, paint, etc. and that the equipment operates properly Interact with Peak Utilities Services Group and Subsidiaries Operations Management to meet corporate Operations and Administrative performance requirements Develop and foster business relationships with client personnel   Other Duties/Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned   Supervisory Duties (if any) Train and direct the duties of the hydro-excavation laborer   Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job.   Position Requirements Experience: One (1+) plus years of experience in hydro excavator operation is required One (1+) plus years of experience digging and working around underground utilities is required Two (2+) plus years of demonstrated experience in dry utilities preferred Experience reading basic prints and Underground Facility Location Sketch is preferred An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year basis.   Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications: Possession of a valid State Commercial Driver’s License Class A (CDL-A) with Tanker endorsement is required Candidates must pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, a DOT regulated physical as a requirement of the job and pass a pre-employment drug screen   Open Date 5/31/2022   Close Date   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
