Share Email Opening Title Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Home Care Aide (HCA)  Description Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to): Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair). Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions. May shop for groceries. Performs patient-specific activities which could include (but are not limited to): Reinforcement of dressings, Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises, Measuring and preparing special diets, Taking vital signs. Performs household activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms. Provides companionship for the client. This includes accompanying client on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.   Position Requirements Current participant or graduate of a Certified Nursing, Home Health Aide, or Medical Assistant program. Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job. Must be able to pass a background check and DMV check. Employment is conditional upon fingerprint clearance, completion of a statement of any prior criminal convictions, tuberculosis screening and registration in the state Home Care Aide Registry.   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time and/or Part-Time   Location California - Fresno   This position is currently not accepting applications.
