As Associate Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring proper day-to-day operation of technology applications and equipment, providing system-wide as well as desk-side assistance in resolving technology support issues. You will perform installations, repairs, upgrades, backups, and other maintenance tasks, while also detecting, analyzing, and resolving problems in commonly used business and phone applications.   Benefits You Will Enjoy Competitive Salary Generous Paid Time Off Health, Dental, and Vision packages to fit your needs Additional voluntary supplemental insurance plans Fully-vested 401(k) company match Tuition Assistance Program Career Pathing Program “At cost” employee discount Full range access at our Big Springs Shooting Complex Opportunity to work alongside people who are passionate about adventure and the outdoors!   What You Will Do Main Duties & Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for desktop support and assist team members/Team Lead with more complex tickets Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming e-mail, in-person, telephone, and voicemail requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up for routine computer user problems, referring more complex problems to supervisor or technical staff Apply knowledge of applications, software, hardware, and networks in troubleshooting user issues Appropriately troubleshoot computer, warehouse, and retail hardware and software Install and/or image computers, software, and peripheral equipment Coach users on software and hardware operation and maintenance Interview users to collect information about problems and lead user through diagnostic procedures to determine source of error Consult with programmers to explain software errors or to recommend changes to programs Log and track requests using content management software, and maintain historic records and related problem documentation   What You Will Need Education & Experience High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Associate degree in IT or business-related field preferred 6 months of help desk/customer support experience preferred Experience with local area and wireless area networks Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Office365   Knowledge & Skills Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills Time Management Customer Service focus Learning and growth mindset   Physical Demands Light work. Light work involves lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
