Candidates with a curiosity for how things work and the mechanics behind them are encouraged to apply. Essential Job Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance to bottling lines and related equipment according to work specifications Perform shut down operations on all lines as necessary Assist in new equipment installation Perform removal and replacement of minor equipment parts on machinery Assist other technicians as necessary Take prompt action to notify supervisor and/or rectify unsafe working conditions Additional duties as assigned   Position Requirements Must Requirements:   High school diploma, GED or equivalent Basic reading, writing, and mathematic skills required. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English 0-2 years experience in the same or related field Strong organizational skills, time management and ability to prioritize tasks according to production needs Coursework or shop classes i.e. metal shop, machining, metal fabrication and welding a plus but not required Coursework or practical knowledge of manufacturing technology with coursework such as robotics, agriculture, automated manufacturing, aerospace, wine manufacturing, film and electronics Ability to work with minimal supervision Basic PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Internet and email Valid CA Driver’s License – Class C required Ability to work in a loud production environment Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, team coaches and all levels of management in English, both written and verbal This is a 5-day/8-hour per day position, Monday – Friday. It may require overtime and may require call-in for emergencies Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred An accredited Apprenticeship is a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry, push and pull up 50 -100 lbs. on an occasional basis; requires ability to constantly walk and stand; occasionally climb, crawl, squat, kneel and bend; occasionally reach outward and upward and work at a computer; requires hand and finger dexterity.
