Base Wage $44,782.61-$51,500/yr  

The Home Child Care Network, part of SAL Community Services, is the Quad Cities area’s leading provider of early childhood care and education. We provide a safe, secure and supportive environment centered on how playing can charge the mind of the children we care for.

As a Mental Health Therapist you will provide individual and family therapy, play based intervention and consultation to children and families, as well as, coaching and supporting Skip-a-Long early care and education staff. This means you will do things like:

  • Create collaborative education and success plans.
  • Link families with community resources and establish diagnoses.
  • Apply developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions and methods to individuals.
  • Provide services that assist in meeting the complex needs of children and their families.
  • Provide support, education, and coaching of staff.

Salary, benefits and perks

Must obtain background clearances, be fully-vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine, be able to travel or have reliable transportation, a valid drivers’ license and insurance, be able to complete physical tasks such as sit, stand, stoop, climb steps, lift and carry a child, and view children. Have a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Master in Counseling and an active Illinois License Clinical Social Work/Iowa Licensed Independent Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or will obtain an Illinois/Iowa Clinical License within a six-month period of start date. At least one year of experience working with children and families is required, two or more years of experience with children and families is preferred.
