SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Vice President of Sales, the Bakery and Event Sales Manager will be responsible for the sale of Kitchen products (cookie pucks, baked goods and other retail and commercial products made by the Bakery Team) and OV event spaces (internal & external events). The incumbent is responsible for developing new prospects, interact with existing customers to maintain and maximize sales volume, and is expected to set goals, and meet or exceed budgeted sales numbers. Excellent customer service is necessary, ensuring customer satisfaction, resulting in increased and repeated contract opportunities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- BAKERY AND EVENT SPACE SALES
1. Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding Bakery and Event sales revenues (budgets).
2. Sales prospecting, funnel/business development, forecasting and keeping the updated pipeline of Sales opportunities.
3. Market research, identifying, and qualifying prospects and handling customer inquiries.
4. Marketing, negotiating and selling OV event spaces and being the point-of-contact for all event details prior to the event and smoothly transferring a contracted (sold) event to the Special Event Manager for an excellent event execution and customer satisfaction.
5. Post -event follow up with the customer for the event feedback.
6. Price setting, in coordination with the VP of Sales, Bakery and Event Operations and Finance Team.
7. Creation of sales presentations, proposals and related documents.
8. Presenting and negotiating proposals to prospective customers and maintain well-organized Event and Bakery sales records.
9. Responsible for obtaining all compliance documentation from the customer prior to events being hosted.
10. Servicing existing accounts and providing and maintaining an excellent customer satisfaction.
11. Promoting the sale of Bakery Products and OV Event Spaces and working closely with the Sales &, Marketing Coordinator, and the Marketing Team on PR and advertising/marketing efforts.
12. Speaking at applicable events to promote OV products and services.
13. Building and maintaining working relationships with internal and external customers and vendors.
14. Conducting tours of the OV programs and event facilities
15. Attends seminars and joins trade organizations in Bakery and Event fields to network and learn in order to stay on top of industry changes.
16. Attends meetings and training sessions as directed.
17. Cross-sells other lines of business where applicable.
18. Work collaboratively with other departmental staff when necessary
19. Performs other duties as assigned.
