The Event Manager (EM) is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing a team of servers and bar staff to deliver and achieve superb event execution for clients. The position requires an understanding of catering business and operations and must have exceptional people skills as well as possess the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients. Additionally, the EM must exercise considerable initiative, independent judgment, diplomacy, flexibility and discretion in the performance of assigned duties.
The EM should possess the passion to connect with and satisfy the needs of clients and build a mutually productive and on-going relationship. They should express a desire to be supplier of clients' catering needs with an exceptionally positive attitude to serve others creating memorable experiences for clients and their guests.
