Location: Palo Alto, CA

Position Summary

Provide technical support activities for equipment, systems, and sub-systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical phone support for repair, test, calibrate, and installation of laser systems, sub-systems, and sub-assemblies.
  • Report to management any potential problems which could impact timely completion of assigned tasks, equipment shortcomings, and more complex equipment problems.
  • Become the primary liaison between the factory and the international service community.
  • Maintain complete and accurate service records.
  • Interact with customers and monitor accounts.
  • Provide technical support to customers as required.
  • Escalate Down Customer issues and dissatisfied customer issues
    to engineering and in-house Product Support promptly
  • Other duties and responsibilities as directed.

Position Requirements


  • Ten years related experience in troubleshooting medical
    laser equipment. 
  • Must be technically oriented with hands-on laser technical experience. 
  • Competency with computers—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of customer needs in a medical environment.
  • Understand product alignment and certification to specification.
  • Demonstrate familiarization with fundamental Laser technology
    and applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Commitment to high output level. Ability to multitask.
  • Commitment to developing company and product knowledge.
  • Continuously develop positive relations within the Sales and
    Service Team
  • Continuously develop, demonstrate, and maintain excellent customer relations skills.


Bachelor’s degree in electronics at a minimum or equivalent
