Share Email Opening Apply Now Title CDL Driver Class B (Cumberland, MD)  Description Essential Functions: Works in the HSG or ISG line of business Ability to read and understand basic striping plans and perform needed layout including intersections markings. Ability to communication with contractor's rep., the field inspector, and all field personnel under your supervision. Ability to complete daily required paperwork. This includes accurately logging all yield conversions and verification of meeting required specificationsIm Implement striping plans and Prefrom needed layout including intersections markings Install Prefrom Plastic and Preformed Thermoplastic to job specification Operate and maintain all hand equipment including milling equipment Operate and maintain paint truck Install temporary pavement markings Follow all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment ( work boots 6 inch with safety toe, hard hat and safety vest) Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures All other duties as assigned Must have a valid CDL and a good driving record. Will use mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment, vehicle and diesel mechanics. In this position you will work overtime, nights and weekends as required. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, sit and bend for long durations OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete daily paperwork accurately Work well in a team environment Provide highest level of customer service to all customers Excellent attendance required, dependable transportation, good work ethic     Position Requirements WORK ENIVORMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment and machinery parts; moving traffic,    and fumes and airborne particles Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate/loud Regularly required to stand/walk; reach with hands and arms; for up to 14 hours a day Must be able to travel overnight Regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds though out your shift   Requirements: High Diploma or eq Schooluivalent 2-5 years of driving experienced required HAZMAT certification preferred but not required Must be able to read and write in order to complete paperwork, comply with road signs and have knowledge of federal motor carrier safety regulations.
