Share Email Opening Title Quality Control Technician   Category Manufacturing   Description Essential Job Functions Pre/Post-inspection of all products prior to concrete placement Lift and test quality control samples Perform/document production test results Provide feedback to plant manager to ensure the production process yields product in compliance with specs and requirements Assist in the development/refinement of the QC plan Ensure concrete raw materials are mixed to provide consistent quality Verify that products are loaded and secured properly for transport Assist with production as needed to maintain a team atmosphere Keep current with NPCA guidelines Perform quarterly detailed plant safety inspections Repair products that have not met quality specs/requirements   Position Requirements Qualifications Concrete Forming/Finishing: 1 year (preferred) Quality control: 3 years (preferred) Construction: 3 years (preferred) High school diploma required, college degree a plus Mathematical aptitude required to calculate physical and volumetric property verification ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician Level 1 a plus ACI Aggregate Testing Tech certification is a plus PCI 1 certification is a plus Must have a good driving record Previous experience working in a manufacturing plant is a plus Thorough knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles Intermediate MS Word, Excel, and Power Point skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership skills Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401K matching Employee discount Life insurance Vision insurance Tuition reimbursement Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
