This Digital Marketing Specialist role will support the strategy and drive execution and comprehensive analysis behind all digital marketing programs for AR15.com, with a focus on both affiliate and email marketing, as well as establishing ongoing support and opportunities for product promotions.

What You Will Do

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strengthen relationships with current Affiliates/Joint Venture partnerships/Influencers through effective communication and ongoing support, developing additional opportunities for product promotions
  • Boost Affiliate performance through active engagement in ongoing promotions and campaigns
  • Coordinate weekly email sends
  • Segment email lists to better interact with our users
  • Work with Sales to create e-blasts for vendors
  • Work with internal design teams to optimize landing pages and creative collaterals including videos or other marketing assets
  • Improve and expand on our Current Deals page

 

What You Will Need

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant digital marketing experience
  • 4-year degree in marketing, statistics, economics, or related field is preferred, however additional relevant experience may be substituted

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Firearms-related product knowledge preferred
  • An understanding of industry standard analytics and web statistics tools and applications such as Google Analytics
  • Ability to effectively communicate marketing strategies to both internal and external customers, verbally and in written form
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong data collection skills

 

Physical Demands

Sedentary work. Sedentary work involves lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.
