PT Donor Engagement and Events Specialist 

Description

Family & Children's Center is currently hiring for a PT Donor Engagement and Events Specialist. This position will assist the Director in meeting department fundraising goals by providing professional donor engagement coordination and volunteer management, as well as providing assistance in determining the effectiveness of future donor events with the Director as they become available.

The Donor Engagement and Events Specialist will provide coordination and assistance with events throughout the year, which will include some weekends and evening hours. This position will be responsible for professionally engagement with volunteers, staff, key partners, and the Board of Directors.

The Donor Engagement and Events Specialist will also assist in overseeing the CRM database of donors to identify strategic opportunities for improvement in segmenting donors for increased results. This position will research, analyze and help implement improvements in database management to provide greater impact and increases in giving through Moves Management.

Finally, the Donor Engagement and Events Specialist will assist with strategically identifying capacity-building development opportunities and managing the Board of Directors information and the board portal.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences/social services with at least three years’ experience in administrative duties such as customer service, project management, etc.

 

 

 

 

 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences/social services with at least three years’ experience in administrative duties such as customer service, project management, etc.
  • Strong task orientation, written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple, competing priorities. Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively
  • Mastery of desktop PC applications (Microsoft Office Suite, File Maker, etc.); use of video and tele conferencing equipment, database management.
