GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under the general direction of the Arts Center Technical Director, provides support of all technical aspects related to the activities of the Lone Tree Arts Center, primarily focusing on, but not limited to, the Audio and Video aspects of each event.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (The following essential job functions and examples of duties are illustrative only and are not intended to be all inclusive. Duties may be modified, added or deleted at the discretion of the Arts Center Technical Director.)
- Ensure the safe and proper operations of all technical theatrical equipment of the Arts Center, including ongoing monitoring, preventive maintenance and scheduled system repairs.
- Supervise operation of sound and video systems for LTAC’s wide range of production genres. Work in conjunction with LTAC’s primary FOH mixers and act as monitor mixer for Mainstage Featured Attractions. Provide FOH mix/playback operation for cultural events and rentals. Operational staff for other production areas as required.
- Remain current with developments and trends within the industry and new equipment and systems as they come onto the market.
- Recommend updates and changes to relevant audio and video systems in use at the Arts Center. Develop specifications and budgets for upgrades as directed.
- Maintain and achieve professional certifications in software and systems relevant to our operations and equipment.
- Meet with rental clients as needed and assess the technical requirements of their use of the space.
- Train and supervise technical theatre personnel as directed.
Pay Range: $48,800 - $59,000 annually
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
Directly supervises stagehands as directed by Technical Director.
