We provide support services and advocacy to 400 adults and children and their families in Harford and Cecil Counties. The Arc supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to create lives that mirror yours and mine: students attending neighborhood schools, adults going to work and living in their own homes, and individuals enjoying the social and recreational opportunities in their communities. Description

Position Summary:

This position will provide administrative support to the Senior Director of Family and Clinical Services. One of the primary roles is to assist and carry out project management for initiatives of Senior Director. This role must demonstrate the ability to consistently be aware of the goals and strategic direction of multiple programs.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

In a manner consistent with supporting The Arc NCR (Northern Chesapeake Region) Mission Statement the Family Support Program Recruiter and Events Coordinator shall do the following:

Quality Support

  • Provide support for Senior Director of Family and Clinical Service including scheduling meetings, special project management and maintaining timelines for recurring reports and projects.
  • Prepares documents including reports, emails and other materials as requested on behalf of the Senior Director of Family and Clinical Services.
  • Supports special programs by scheduling, creating program documents and tracking systems for attendance goals and outcomes.
  • Collaborates with all departments of The Arc NCR to offer supports to families and people seeking services.
  • Maintains and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices and record keeping and data tracking for multiple programs.

Quality Team Members

  • Provides effective administrative support to Senior Director of Family and Clinical Services and multiple programs as needed or directed.
  • Provides information by answering questions and request.
  • Writes and edits letters, reports, meeting minutes, and other documents, and creates and maintains official records, files statistics, and budgets, as requested and appropriate, using word processing, database, spreadsheet, graphics, and communication software.

Financial Excellence

  • Tracks data and statistics for multiple programs.
  • Assist programs in collection and reporting of data to support program and Development in applying for grants.

Other duties as assigned.
