Base Wage $16.85-$18.54 per hour  

The Home Child Care Network, part of SAL Family and Community Services, is the Quad Cities area's leading provider of early childhood care and education. We provide a safe, secure and supportive environment centered on how playing can charge the mind of the children we care for.

As a Home Child Care Network (HCCN) Eligibility Coordinator, you will manage a child care caseload of Moline, Milan, Rock Island Campuses, and/or the Home Child Care Network children. This means you will do things like:

  • Collaborate and coordinate services for families.
  • Monitor child care cases, collect paperwork and case documentation and assign co-payments.
  • Counsel families seeking child care.
  • Produce necessary reports.
  • Adhere to procedures and controls to ensure program integrity
  • Learn and master IDHS statewide Child Care Management System.

Must obtain background clearances, be fully-vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine, be able to travel or have reliable transportation, be able to complete physical tasks such as sit, stand, stoop, climb steps, lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and view children, an Associate's Degree in accounting or business is preferred. Significant experience in Center-based or Family Childcare homes is preferred. Additional detail will be provided prior to an interview. SALFCS operates Skip-a-Long Child Development Services - early care and education centers in Iowa and Illinois, The Home Child Care Network - a network of licensed and license-exempt home child care providers in both the Quad Cities and Peoria areas, Open Door - a crisis assistance program funded by IDHS to help individuals and families in crisis navigate local social services, SAL Child Care Connection - the child care resource and referral program in Peoria, IL, the Child Care Resource and Referral of Midwestern Illinois that serves the Illinois Quad Cities and surrounding counties, and Early Head Start Child Care Partnerships that serve Rock Island, Henry, and Mercer Counties in Illinois.
