CNA / Licensed or by experience 

Description

 

  • Performs non-medical services and activities per instructions listed in the Client Home Record which may include, but not limited to:
  • Personal Care services such as ambulation assistance, bathing & showering, continence care & toileting, changing briefs, transfers & positioning, taking vitals, skin care, hair care & shampooing, mouth & denture care, shaving with electric razor, dressing, feeding, Alzheimer's & Dementia care, Parkinson's care, and Diabetic meal planning.
  • Performs Companionship services as described in the Caregiver/Companion job description.
  • Performs Homemaking activities as described in the Caregiver/Companion job description.
  • Prepares meals and snacks for client according to client/family and supervisor's instructions.
  • Provides companionship for the client including: accompanying client on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.
  • The CNA is responsible for accurate, detailed written documentation of service provided.
  • Primarily works in Client's place of residence
  • Shift times and days vary with client needs & we work with your schedule! 
  • On-going training provided with opportunities for advancement.

Position Requirements
  • Priority given to those with at least six months' experience. Please note CNA licensure on application.
  • Must be 18 years old, have a valid driver's license, and use of an insured, dependable automobile.
  • Clean background and driving check results, and random drug screens required.
  • Ability to communicate well with the office & clients
