This position works directly with SBH Resource Parents to help them achieve and support the well-being, stability, and permanency of the SBH level foster children/youth placed in the home. This is primarily achieved through providing direct support, consultation, and coaching to SBH Resource Parents. This position reports directly to the Specialized Behavioral Health Program Director.   Position Requirements BSW and a minimum of two years of experience working with families and children in community-based settings are required. Experience in home-based work with families is preferred. Knowledge of Philadelphia’s behavioral health system and community resources. Knowledge of behavior management, de-escalation techniques, and effective parenting. strategies for children/youth with emotional/behavioral needs. Ability to make home visits and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.   This position is currently not accepting applications.
