As the working Supervisor, this individual will help out as needed in all areas and ensure that the working environment is safe and secure through careful monitoring of the premises and the production areas. As the working supervisor, you will be required to provide direction to the entire team while filling one of the roles on the crew. You will be expected to efficiently support the safety program, participate in process improvements, and corrective actions, and comply with our manufacturing schedule while maintaining a safe and orderly workplace. You need to effectively communicate with your team as well as other shifts.   Position Requirements Qualifications required:   Supervisory experience is required Forklift license Good communication and organizational skills Ability to be a valuable team leader Attention to detail Quality oriented Organized and thorough History of continuous improvement/ involvement Willingness to be a team player Some computer skills helpful   Essential functions and responsibilities: Oversee all shift employees Oversee production flow of respective shift Oversee quality of all machines Supports process as needed Maintenance and up keep of all equipment Assist with changeovers as necessary Cover machine breaks and lunches for straw sealing operators when necessary Communicate quality issues to all necessary personnel Training of all new operators and temporary employees and document all training provided.
