Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Pavement Marking Technician II (Lafayette, IN)  Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Works in the HSG or ISG line of business Ability to read and understand basic striping plans and perform needed layout including intersections markings. Ability to communication with contractor's rep., the field inspector, and all field personnel under your supervision. Ability to complete daily required paperwork. This includes accurately logging all yield conversions and verification of meeting required specifications Implement striping plans and Prefrom needed layout including intersections markings Install Prefrom Plastic and Preformed Thermoplastic to job specification Operate and maintain all hand equipment including milling equipment Operate and maintain paint trucks Install temporary pavement markings Follow all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment ( work boots – 6 inch with safety toe, hard hat and safety vest) Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures All other duties as assigned   OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete daily paperwork accurately Work well in a team environment Provide highest level of customer service to all customers Excellent attendance required, dependable transportation, good work ethic   Position Requirements   WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment and machinery parts; moving traffic and fumes and airborne particles Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate/loud Regularly required to stand/walk; reach with hands and arms; for up to 14 hours a day Must be able to travel overnight Regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds though out your shift   REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED Pass a drug test Must have valid Driver’s License Ability to participate and pass Company Sponsored Flagger Certification Must be able to obtain a CDL Class B within 60 days of employment Must have or be able to obtain an ATSSA TCT Certification Must be or be able to obtain ATSSA Pavement Marking Tech Certification(if state requires) First Aid and CPR Certification Defensive Driver Training Forklift Certification TMA Operation and Certification Slica Training Verzion Connect HCSS Heavy Construction Systems Specialists Hold Hazardous Materials Certification   We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran             Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Additional Information   Position Pavement Marking Technician II C-JD2020   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Req Number PAV-22-00055   About the Organization RoadSafe Traffic Systems ('RoadSafe') is the largest provider of traffic control and pavement marking services in the United States.
