Broad St. (Trenton, NJ)   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Number of Openings 1   Category Direct Care - Managers/Supervisors   Description 'New Choices' is an afternoon/early evening intensive outpatient program (IOP) for substance abusing adolescents, aged 12-17.  The program operates 4 days/week (M-Th). Staff is off on Fridays. Seeking motivated manager for Mercer County Adolescent IOP program. Successful candidate will maintain administrative oversight and clinical supervision of IOP program and team, work closely with referral sources and other stakeholders, and collaborate with other managers within the Division of Behavioral Health.  The PROGRAM SUPERVISOR is responsible for coordinating, evaluating, and monitoring an efficient and effective delivery of New Choices intensive outpatient services consistent with best practices and in accordance with agency, funding source and licensing standards and expectations.  Supervises staff, monitors and assesses performance of group and individual counseling with a focus on recovery. Conducts thorough initial assessments utilizing NJSAMS (New Jersey Substance Abuse Monitoring System). Acts as primary liaison with referral sources, juvenile justice system, and other agencies and treatment providers. Participates in Quality Improvement activities, evaluating program effectiveness and outcomes. Schedule: Mon – Thurs; 10am to 7:30pm. Competitive Salary and Benefits package.   Position Requirements - A Masters Degree in Human Services - L.C.A.D.C. (Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor) required.
