CUSO Financial Services, LP. (CFS) is seeking an Investment Sales Assistant to support one of our Financial Advisors at Altura Credit Union in the Moreno Valley, CA area.

As an Investment Sales Assistant, you become part of the credit union environment providing support to Financial Advisors along with helping to build member relationships. The position is responsible for support and coordination of all activities related to client service, processing of paperwork and coordination of business development activities, as well as for a contribution to sales if appropriately licensed. 


  • Oversees the daily operations for an investment program, ensures compliance with both broker/dealer and government regulations.
  • Schedules appointments and maintains calendars for the financial advisor including quarterly and annual reviews for the financial advisor's book of customers.
  • Prepares, composes, and initiates correspondence, memoranda, presentation material and advertising for the financial advisors, and maintains appropriate files records, and documentation.
  • Meets or exceeds activity and production goals as outlined in Business Plan.
  • Assists with all operational and support issues for numerous financial advisors.
  • Follows the rules and regulations set forth by the credit union, FINRA, SEC and the broker/dealer.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Position Requirements

Qualified candidate will have:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required, degree in related filed helpful

Licenses: Series 7, 63, and Life and Disability preferred, but not required

Experience: Two years of experience in the financial services industry

  • Knowledge in the Industry
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software programs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to interact with others in a positive manner, both in person and by phone
  • Exhibit an advanced level of performance, with requiring minimum supervision
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently enter and update customer records via a computer terminal
  • Equipment Knowledge: Online computer terminal keyboard and visual monitor, scanner, telephone, use of copy machine, use of fax machine, and use of computer printer
