Syndication Specialist

This role is responsible for providing working capital and equipment finance solutions through our syndication network of lenders to customers by prospecting, qualifying, and closing transactions.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Syndication Servicing

  • Review credit file and transaction documents to gain complete understanding of transaction including pricing, deal structure, collateral evaluation, credit requirements, and sales/use tax to accurately present syndication transactions.
  • Create and manage syndication packages including but not limited to credit and documentation files, closing documents, pricing, and investor feedback.
  • Review documentation packages for completeness and accuracy; and resolve any issues.
  • Take a leadership role in the development and maintenance of syndication relationships.
  • Manage due diligence and data requests from syndication partners.
  • Provide input/guidance on transactions regarding potential syndication issues.
  • Draft standard syndication documents (Specification, Power of Attorney, Buy-back Letter, etc.).
  • Engage management to ensure clear communication on syndication issues.
  • Assist with internal reporting and audit requests.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to deliver results in a timely and accurate manner under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage heavy transaction volume.
  • Effective organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Self-motivation with strong sense of initiative and accountability as well as attention to detail
  • Thorough knowledge of Syndication process and industry best practices
  • Detailed knowledge of industries, equipment types and Customer profiles financed by Amur
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks during constantly fluctuating workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to exemplifying the highest integrity and professional business standards
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and Word, Internet-based solutions, and information sources, as well as Amur transaction management platforms (e.g.,, Aspire, SSRS)
