The Titling Specialist is responsible for assisting customers with processing of title transfers by gathering documentation to support the transfer and verifying information is correct: Including VINs, Assignments, Signatures, Sales Tax, and Details on Documentation. They will ensure Titles, both Original and Perfected, are processed and checked in within a timely manner and assist with customer title issues. In addition, the Title Specialist will work with Title Agencies, Internal Departments, and DMVs to ensure follow up is completed on all outstanding title issues and that perfected titles are received within our timeframes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assemble Title Packets to process title transfers in all 50 states.
• Assist title agencies in obtaining needed/missing documentation.
• Prepare tax and title documents.
• Submit documentation to the Department of Motor Vehicles where vehicle will be registered and titled.
• Maintain and monitor system to verify what titles still need to be received from vendors/dealers.
• Compile and maintain complete list of all outstanding title work to ensure title perfection is completed.
• Sign over titles to Customers once their accounts have been paid in full.
• Stay abreast of title regulations and attend seminars that are available relating to title regulations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area.
