The purpose of this position is to answer inquiries and provide information to customers and to assist customers with order placement. This position will only last for the season of June 20 to September 9, at which time employment will cease. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Answer incoming calls to provide customers information about products, take or enter orders, resolve issues with accounts, receive payments, or obtain details of complaints. Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken. Notify customers of delinquent accounts to solicit payment, advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment, and record information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts. Perform various administrative functions, such as recording address changes and purging the records of deceased customers.   Position Requirements Minimum Training and Experience Required Experience in providing customer service and personal service, which includes needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluating satisfaction. Experience in sales is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel). Experience with office equipment (specifically computer, multi-line switchboard, scanner, fax machine, printer). Knowledge of administrative procedures such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology. Knowledge of basic math skills.
