Charleston or be willing to relocate on their own terms) Job Description: We are looking for Construction and Asphalt laborers to assist in the pouring, smoothing and setting of asphalt on roads, pathways, and general property. Job Duties: Unload and carry materials at construction sites Clean up site from debris and discarded material Ability to mix and Pour Concrete and Asphalt (preferred) Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance Must be willing to complete manual labor Operate all equipment related to the field Conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism Skills & Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory Ability to receive written or oral instructions Establish and maintain effective working relationship with field supervisors Must be committed to contributing to a culture of safety, looking out for yourself and others Physical Requirements: Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Work long shifts Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements. Must have good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times. Able to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots.
