Our drivers are home every night, have consistent schedule and can expect GREAT earnings (Projected earnings of $70,000.00-$100,000.00 a year) with great benefits! Job Description: Carver Maritime is looking to hire a licensed Class-A CDL driver with experience operating various types of trailers for daily local hauls. Some longer distance hauls may be required from time to time requiring overnight travel. The candidate must have a Clean Class-A Driver's license and experience driving a tri-axle dump truck or similar equipment. This an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, reliable individual who works well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Job Duties: Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service Maintains radio or telephone contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations. Expected to keep vehicle neat and clean at all times Daily DVIR reports as required by DOT Requirements: Ability to drive manual tansmission (preferred) Previous experience driving Class A Tractor Trailer Combo or similar preferred Must have clean license, pass drug test, background check, and road test Previous experience driving dump trailer preferred Experience with other trailers including low beds, flat beds, box trailers, etc… Must have clean abstract, and must be able to pass preemployment road test What We Have to Offer You: Up to $100,000.00 in annual salary.
