As a member of the maintenance team you will provide direct electrical support for existing and new production equipment. This includes:

  • Identifying and implementing corrective actions for equipment for improved performance.
  • Assisting the electricians with troubleshooting.
  • SME for technical direction.
  • Support and coordination with the manufacturing team to improve overall equipment operating efficiencies. Supports efforts for continuous improvements of safety, quality, productivity and cost.


  • Focus on production equipment: identify critical issues on equipment that are negatively affecting performance, formulate corrective actions to these issues, and implement these actions in a timely manner. Follow all relevant safety, quality, and technical procedures in the process.
  • Act as a controls resource for manufacturing projects.
  • Proficiency in electrical design, machine controls, programming, and troubleshooting highly desired, with knowledge of established safety standards.
  • Technical Capability in Electrical Troubleshooting: respond to calls from the production floor to diagnose and fix electrical issues with machinery. Troubleshooting consists of:
    • Reading machine schematics.
    • Investigating wiring and component issues.
    • PLC and ladder logic troubleshooting.
    • Robotic systems.
    • Vision systems.
  • Flexibility for shift coverage required, as needed for business requirements and requested by the supervisor.
  • Availability to respond to occasional calls on nights and weekends.
  • An active member of the manufacturing team to drive performance.
  • Critical member of a cross functional teams focused on new process and new equipment design, build, and installation.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Position Requirements

Experience and Education Requirements

  • HS Diploma Required
  • 5+ Years Electrical experience in a manufacturing environment Required
  • E1 or E2 Electrical License Preferred

Competencies – Knowledge, skills and characteristics/behaviors

  • Ability to read machine schematics
  • Investigate wiring and component issues
  • Troubleshoot PLC and Ladder Logic concerns
  • Understanding of Robotic and Vision systems
