The Role At Cogent our Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for warehouse duties including shipping and receiving, inventory organization, and general labor as needed. This is a wonderful opportunity in a growing fast-paced environment.  This position will be responsible for Receives, unpacks, verifies and records all incoming shipments Packs, addresses, and documents all outgoing shipments Assists customers by loading and unloading equipment needing serviced Coordinate all shipments with appropriate shipping vendors Maintain relationships with shipping vendors Inventory cycle counting and organization Assists in general labor to maintain cleanliness and efficiency of the facilities Continuous improvement of delivery, quality, efficiency and safety in their team.   Position Shipping & Receiving Coordinator   Position Requirements Our Ideal Candidate Organized with great attention to detail Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse coordination Some college or technical school; or six months related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Solid basic computer knowledge Learns quickly when facing new problems: a relentless desire to learn, open to change, strives for continuous improvement of self and processes Solid communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information and ideas Thrives in a fast-paced work environment; responds with a sense of urgency Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Works well independently or with a team Customer first attitude Ability to physically lift heavy items required, up to 70 lbs Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; Class E license preferred Ability to drive a forklift (or within 90 days of hire) (requirement) – training will be provided Who We Are Cogent is a growing, Midwest company that provides creative and innovative fluid processing solutions.
