Job Summary

The Service Assistant, PNC Park Event is responsible for supporting the execution of events held in PNC Park venues.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to Director, Coordinator, Catering Managers, and Client during event planning and execution.
  2. Serves as point of contact on the day of the event for building, caters, clients, suppliers, and vendors.
  3. Responsible for set-up and breakdown of audiovisual equipment, presentation equipment, and check floor layouts.
  4. Responsible for maintaining inventory log and work orders for equipment and supplies.
  5. Assist with maintaining social media site content.
  6. Assist with internal departments to plan and execute internal events.
  7. Assist with the execution of larger ballpark events such as field events, weddings, and more.
  8. Other duties as assigned by Director and Coordinators of Sales, PNC Park Events.
 
Position Requirements

Required:

  • Currently enrolled in or obtained a degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Management, Event Planning or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year of marketing or event planning experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Desired:

  • Experience with a professional or college sports team.
  • Experience with booking software and CAD programs.
