Description

Track Utilities, LLC is seeking an Aerial Foreman to join our team. This position will utilize their experience and knowledge to perform line maintenance, repair, and various aerial construction practices.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Ability to effectively lead a 2 + man crew; including coaching, training, production, safety, conflict resolution, etc. 
  • Advanced knowledge of aerial cable installation procedures including, but not limited to, pole placement and anchors, pole removal, transfers, proper framing techniques etc. 
  • Ability to prepare and assemble various line apparatus, utilize equipment to install ground rods and anchors, assist in hoisting aerial poles, and operate various types of construction equipment
  • Ability to climb utility poles at various heights 
  • Reads and interprets work prints and diagrams and is familiar with current practices pertinent to each job assignment
  • Clear understanding of any NESC clearances and regulations 
  • Ability to safely operate hydraulic aerial lifts, ladders, bucket trucks, assist wheel and anchor placement machine
  • Keeps work areas clean and organized; always ensure job site cleanliness 
  • Ensures proper inventory on vehicle based on work assignments daily
  • Safely use hand tools and equipment such as; wrenches, drills, ladders, lashers, chain saw, chain hoist, climbing hooks etc. 
  • Ensures job site safety and sets up safe perimeter using signage, cones, safety barriers; flagging traffic when required 
  • Heavy lifting will be required; must have the ability to lift and manipulate lasher and other cable placement equipment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
 
Position Requirements

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: 

  • 1 + years experience leading aerial crews required
  • 3 + years of lineman experience in the telecommunication industry required
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
