Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Supervise the daily operations of current contracts in your assigned market. Maintain performance standards, train employees, provide redirection and guidance as needed to employees. Communicate with customers, produce various reports. Promote Endeavors Unlimited throughout the community.

 
Position Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee and manage Service Contracts on a daily basis to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Establish and monitor production standards while ensuring quality results.
  • Implement process improvements to remedy substandard products or services.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize Crew Member efforts and performance, increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure a safe environment at all times.
  • Solicit feedback from supervisors and staff to evaluate effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement change as needed to meet program objectives and customer needs.
  • Manage labor and material costs to stay within budget parameters and ensure job/project profitability.
  • Be knowledgeable of and observe all company, program and department policies and procedures to ensure compliance to federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.

Promote the success and reputation of Endeavors Unlimited and the value of individuals with significant disabilities.

  • Identify opportunities for program expansion and growth. Pursue new revenue sources.
  • Maintain open lines of communication and ensure all customer concerns are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Perform administrative duties in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Complete and submit Daily Job Reports, Time sheets, and manage expenses as needed

Supervise and Manage Crew Members.

  • Role model, train and mentor all staff in best practices, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate and maintain a high level of professionalism, set a standard for all staff to follow.
  • Promote and develop teamwork among staff; negotiate conflict and manage all difficult situations with composure.
  • Monitor performance; issue coaching and/or disciplinary actions as necessary, provide ongoing feedback and timely performance evaluations.
  • Assist with interviewing to help team make quality hiring decisions in conjunction with Area Manager/Regional Manager and HR Department

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High School or GED required. Technical School Certificate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 3+ years’ experience in grounds maintenance/landscaping or similar line of business. 1+ years supervising and developing staff; multi-site/remote sites a plus. Experience with government contracts, Ability One or TIBH contracts, and individuals with disabilities preferred but not necessary.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver’s License and clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearances as required by government contracts. Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates; including deployment within 24 hours to disaster locations for as long as 2 – 4 weeks. Must be available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required to meet business needs and to report on short notice. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
