Peterson Brothers Inc. is a holding company that owns interests in a diverse group of privately held businesses, along with the management teams at those companies. Several of our operating units are experiencing tremendous growth and our team of corporate recruiters needs to grow along with them to find the talent needed to meet the demands for our products and services.

The industries we serve are as varied as the roles we source for. Everything from Architects and Technical Writers to Security Personnel and Accountants. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Corporate Recruiter with 5 or more years experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using a variety of tools to find and connect with our ideal candidates. 

This position is responsible for all in-house talent sourcing efforts for our four offices located in Raleigh, NC as well as Cranberry Twp, Erie and Horsham, PA. This role will report to our Cranberry Twp office. We have multiple openings for both full- and part-time work.

Job Description:

  • Outbound sourcing efforts including making cold calls
  • Manage In-House Referral Program
  • Conduct database resume searches
  • Maximize use of Social Media tools to find quality candidates and promote the Company
  • Manage job postings for all positions
  • Participate in Job Fairs as necessary
  • Source candidates using social media and job posting sites (Indeed, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Organize Company Open House events
  • Perform resume screen
  • Track candidates in recruiting software (Ascentis)
  • Perform telephone screens and interviews
  • Conduct candidate employment screens (pre-employment testing and brief interview)


Position Requirements

Required Education:

  • Associates Degree in Business or Human Resource related discipline

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Experience cold-calling candidates and using multiple recruiting sources
  • Experience using database software, MS Word, Excel, and leveraging the internet and social media
  • Good writing skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Efficient time management
  • 5+ years of hands-on recruiting experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field preferred
