This belief is reflected in the school’s motto, “Mind the Light.”   Description George School, a co-ed Quaker boarding/day grades 9-12 college preparatory school located in Newtown, Bucks County, PA has an opening for a full time Teacher of Mandarin Chinese, beginning August 2022.     Position Requirements A native speaker of Mandarin Chinese is preferred, with a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of teaching experience. Responsibilities include teaching Mandarin Chinese 1-5. Familiarity with Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate curricula are also preferred. Willingness to fulfill common boarding school duties, including coaching; the ability to work with a diverse student population; commitment to the traditions and philosophy of a Quaker educational community; and a style consistent with Quaker testimonies are also important.
