Position Federal Sales Development Representative  
Description

The Federal Sales Development Representative will, with direct and continued support from the Federal Systems Team, utilize their demonstrated, proven and dynamic search strategies to define, research, locate and report key contact information on programs, agencies, facilities and personnel that should be introduced to our unique products and services. This research will require skill and digital dexterity over the Web's many platforms of information and networking.

Activu's vis|ability software is a unique solution to many AV / collaboration issues found in new and ongoing Federal Command and Control facilities. The successful candidate will be the resourceful, aggressive 'detective' finding Federal Clients to speak to our Subject Matter Experts, growing and keeping a constant feed of pre-qualified leads from all branches of the Government, Military and Civilian Organizations to the SMEs (Subject Matter Experts).

You will be a key component of Activu's success by

  • Researching, decoding, formalizing and contacting prime 'points of contact' from the layers of Military and Federal Agencies that need our technology
  • Providing targeted 'first contact' marketing materials to pique and engage their interest in our products and services
  • This requires a methodical and intuitive approach to locating new clients in the digital domain
  • This position does not require extensive technical expertise, but the ability to apply technical concepts to the greater task of finding client's and introducing them to our unique platform

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively email and cold call prospective customers daily in tight coordination with targets identified by the Federal Sales team
  • Creatively source new leads, company information, and contact details; develop detailed lead profiles in our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Qualify leads and schedule follow up with Federal SMEs
  • Represent Activu in digital and real-world events (some travel may be required)
  • Create and manage outreach campaigns to re-engage with aged prospects
  • Facilitate and manage a systematic and organized approach to day-to-day activity
  • Collaborate with the Federal SMEs on best practices to increase your market knowledge

  • Previous sales development and cold-calling experience, fluid in linear and non-linear research methods, fluid in navigating and utilizing the information and tools in the digital domain
  • Conversationalist – you enjoy talking to people and have impeccable listening and writing skills
  • You’re confident – you have the confidence to speak with all organization levels to deliver thought-provoking discussion and communicate our vision
  • You’re a “go-getter” – you work hard to deliver consistent results and contribute to the success of the entire sales team

  • You have strong attention to detail – you take great notes and are in command of dynamic micro and macro information that will find the new opportunities, clients, and result in contracts

  • Technical competency – experience with Office, Salesforce, Teams, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo
