Share Email Opening Title Director of Analytics and Business Strategy - Onsite or Remote  Description Prolific 1, a leading distribution partner across the sports and entertainment industry, is seeking for an experienced professional to join its team as the Director of Analytics and Business Strategy. Objectives of this Role: Maintain and improve upon the company’s analytic systems Improve the current data modeling process – ability to model out entire season ticket and single game revenue strategies for partner teams while incorporating primary and secondary blended ticket models Develop and implement best-practice reports through use of data mining, analysis, and visualization Evaluate and enhance internal systems, generating new ways for handling, processing, and cleaning data Utilization of BI industry connections to investigate investment and consulting opportunities Work direct with EVP of Business Development, VP Pricing, and CEO to develop partnership opportunity revenue models Qlik coding as to assist in building apps and automated reporting Primary Responsibilities: Building and executing effective data driven solutions to support partner priorities Obtaining, analyzing, and interpreting historical and current market sales data to provide actionable recommendations to partners Organizing and constructing data conclusions using business intelligence visualization tools Determining how to price inventory most effectively using relevant data algorithms and analytics Recognizing trends and implementing pricing changes across specific inventory Work closely with team leads and stakeholders to understand the company’s analytical needs, working to identify critical metrics and deliver/explain actionable insights Continually interpret and analyze data to provide insight as to what drives business performance, always seeking solutions and offering suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity Explore and develop advanced, interactive, and easy to read visualizations of data analytics Use appropriate combination of tools and technology to implement data acquisition and integration logic Build scripts using properly maintained databases that will enhance our data evaluation processes making them more flexible and scalable Build complex manifests for entire event venues and stadiums with pricing recommendations Link market data to our company’s data by integrating into our Qlik platform Develop and implement an automated reporting strategy through our Qlik platform Review and evaluate past season numbers to maximize partnership opportunity in upcoming season This candidate will report directly to EVP of Business Development     Position Requirements Required Skills: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent field • Must be proficient in SQL, Excel or other data management software - linking tables together • Ability to effectively communicate across a variety of teams and departments both internally and externally • Familiarity with primary ticketing platforms such as Ticketmaster, Tickets.com, SeetGeek AXS, etc. preferred.   Required Experience: 5+ years’ experience as a data analyst, preferably in professional sports/entertainment, with proven, measurable success BI software such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, Power BI or equivalent proficiency in building visualizations and creating formulas Experience with single game, season ticket, variable, and dynamic pricing preferred.     Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Division EventVest   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   Req Number ACC-22-00034   Location Hartford County - EV   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
