SUMMARY
Serves as a liaison between IT and all other departments by applying various business analysis techniques to reduce cost, time, and risk associated with processes, initiatives, and projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Performs analysis on applications throughout the entire lifecycle, ensuring business requirements are continually met, applications are fully utilized, and application issues are addressed.
Aids in the acquisition, configuration, and implementation of new applications.
Partners with end users to document and review current processes. Recommends and implements ways to reduce associated costs, time, and risks.
Responsible for all aspects of User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Ensures the test environment is functional, test scripts are written and followed, and results are documented.
Gathers, documents, and translates business requirements into functional requirements for the development team.
Creates custom SQL reports to enhance application functionality.
Defines, documents, and audits application access rights. Ensures audit findings are remediated.
Performs peer reviews on documents created by other business analysts, ensuring the documents are clear, concise, and free of errors.
