Account Manager - Adverting Sales 


Responsible for promoting and selling CNSNext cable advertising in order to achieve sales goals.  Maintains relationships and manages the customer experience in order to ensure customer expectations are satisfied.

Contact local businesses within assigned territories for the purpose of explaining and selling CNSNext cable advertising to commercial customers.

Responsible for managing all aspects of the advertising experience for customers, including working with customers to develop ideas and budget. 

Writes advertising scripts, obtains script approval, schedules and manages production, completes traffic schedules, and submits all orders to traffic coordinator.

Develops and implements marketing initiatives to increase and promote the benefits of CNSNext advertising.  Responsible for monthly customer communications initiatives and developing seasonal campaign strategies.

Represents CNSNext at various meetings, events, and other opportunities to promote the benefits of CNSNext Advertising. 

Manages and maintains weekly and monthly reports and customer databases in order to execute timely renewals for advertising contracts.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

Two to three years of demonstrated sales experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organization skills with attention to detail.

Knowledge of word processing and email.

Ability to work without direct supervision/self-starter.

Physical/Environmental Requirements Mobility to work in typical office settings using standard office equipment is required. In addition, vision to read printed materials and computer screen and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
